What dblSpace is.
dblSpace runs the warehouse. Hold your item catalog and carton definitions, model the building as a tree of admin-definable location tiers, and drive receiving and dispatch from a barcode scanner — hardware wedge or phone camera.
At its core is an append-only stock ledger: every movement is recorded, on-hand is derived under a strict check that blocks any pick which would drive stock negative, and you can read stock by item or by location at any point in time.
Items can be native to dblSpace or linked to products in dblFeature, and warehouse suppliers link back to dblSource — so the warehouse speaks the same language as the rest of the business.

How dblSpace links.
dblSpace works on its own — but its records link to the apps around it over the shared backbone. The app that owns a record stays its system of record; others simply reference it and resolve a live card on read, so nothing is copied and everything stays current.
dblFeature is the product source for warehouse items — items link to the products they represent.
dblSource is the supplier source for warehouse items — suppliers link back to their supplier records.
dblTake orders feed picking and dispatch here, and shipment status reports back.
