How dblSure works

dblSure is for any standard or accreditation that expects you to keep standards documentation, policies, attestations and evidence current, year after year. ISO 9001 quality, ISO/IEC 27001 information security, ISO 14001 environmental, ISO 45001 occupational health and safety and ISO 50001 energy management come ready to use, with every clause and control loaded, and ISO 31000 is there for risk management guidance. They show how the rest of the application works.

Evidence is collected against each requirement as the work happens, so an audit is a matter of showing what is already there. Policies and procedures move through versioned approval with review dates, mandatory records still outstanding are easy to find, and expiry dates on certificates and documents raise notifications before they lapse.

Each management system records its scope, its interested parties and what they require. The statement of applicability holds a decision for every control, with its justification, implementation status and measurement results, and the risk treatment plan shows which risks each control treats. Internal audits raise their findings onto the issue register, and certificates track their certification body, scope and the surveillance and recertification visits in between. ISO 31000 is guidance rather than a certifiable standard, so a risk management framework built on it carries no certificate.
